Hand-numbered limited edition pressed in black or blue vinyl. Superhands started as a one off party band with friends.    After 16 years’ service with the legendary Clockwork punks the Adicts time was right for Scruff to fulfil his dream of recording the music closest to his heart, the American punk-pop, alt-rock sound of bands like The Replacements, Buffalo Tom , Dinosaur Jr and Bob Mould to name a few. He immediately started Scruff Myers’ Superhands with his favourite drummer, John Randall, and brother, Mel “Spider” Ellis (founder member of the Adicts) with friends, old and new, assisting with the recording and set to work on their debut release even before any gigs were played.   The album was produced by George Perks (the Darkness, Maximo Park, Jeff Wayne)    Initially released on CD, Blunder Town records out of France has released this debut album on vinyl for the first time, with 3 extra tracks. "Superhands remind me a bit of a man's Bangles (oo-er, missus). Or perhaps The Undertones at their best. Ever see The Undertones? God they're good. Should I mention The Monkees? Nah, Scruff's too fuzzy ... Sunnyboys? I confess I never took to the Sunnyboys (I have been firmly admonished and have promised to reinvestigate) so I can't compare ... But you're getting the hang of it." - Robert Brokenmouth (i94bar.com)
